the a7cr is the direct higher end version of the a7cii, buy for most people the sensor is probably overkill and the rest is the same. so for you a7cii might just be the best option. the canon r8 is cheaper, slightly lighter and arguably more ergonomic, they are pretty similar but the a7cii has ibis

The absolute smallest would be the Sigma fp and an adapter. Everything would be manual though, and it's ridiculously unergonomic for this kind of use.

Not a lumix body but the Sigma FP and Sigma FPL are l-mount and smaller. They have a lot of drawbacks but yeah just putting it on your radar if you didn’t already know about them!

Hi, yes I did. When the project started on Kickstarter, I reserved it immediately with the purpose of using it on the Sigma FP, and it took more than 6 months to arrive. It looked exactly like what I was looking for. Even knowing that the speed was 1050 MB/s, after seeing users on YouTube successful

i feel you on wanting something truly pocketable. the original bmpcc is small but still kinda chunky for a jacket pocket honestly. for actual pocketable size with log, check the sony zv-e10 - it has s-log and fits in large pockets. the canon g7x iii also shoots canon log and disappears in a jacket.

I don't disagree with you in theory, but my FF mirrorless is 24mp so an APS-C crop is 10mp. Meanwhile my APS-C cameras I use for adapting lenses are 12, 16 and 28mp. I want a 44mp+ FF but don't have one and the annoying thing is the one I want is very large, whereas my APS-C cameras are small. (The

I would go with the Sony A7c; it's not as "film-camera-like" as Fuji but it's very small and full-frame, and almost every kind of lens can be adapted to it. I used Minolta lenses on my Sony cameras for years. The Fuji cameras are APS-C, which means your lenses will have a narrower angle of view. The

I had the Visioflex 2 for my M11-P and the EVF for the Sigma fpL. I loved the articulation. But both are clunky and bulk up the camera. I think an important point here is also EVF resolution. As has been pointed out the M EV1's EVF resolution is not class leading. The Visioflex 2 is yet another step

Sigma FP isn't the best travel camera (unless you don't mind hoofing around with a tripod or gimbal) because of the lack of IBIS and the need for SSD rigging to get full frame 12 bit raw. I've taken some decent handheld footage, but to be honest the footage out of my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 looks better s
