Headphones

He has never specified his iems as far as I know, but ive looked into him extensively. I recently went down this same rabbit hole and can give you some solid advice. PC players seem to be way better at pinpointing exactly in which duct you are holding your key for later.

can you change audio settings on console? ive been setting it to studio reference with sennheiser 560s and i feel like i can hear people walking on the other side of most POIs. i can easily hear someone in a vent if theyre anywhere near me and not completely still.

NPD: EQD Easy Listening

Nice! I used my Sennheiser 560s’s and they sounded great. I feel like open backs really do well for playing through headphones as they help get that “amp in the room” feel.

This is an infodump safe spot. You can infodump about whatever you want in the comments :)

TLDR I'd say that for the best audio fidelity AKG K371, if you hate sweaty ears or just want perfect comfort for longer sessions then Sennheiser HD 560S. If you're on a budget then used Sennheiser HD556, 579, 598 and 599 are dime a dozen on the used market. They can be easily refreshed to like new c

Does someone who likes listening to music should care about getting a "reference" headphone?

Not all "consumer" headphones do - there are a lot of affordable neutral-sounding headphones. My current pair of Sennheiser HD560S are neutral and quite affordable: Sennheiser HD 560S Review — New Benchmark in Headphone Neutrality – Headphones.com

At which point does it become an addiction

I mean there's an obvious difference if you're testing stuff for funsies or you're looking for what sound suits you the best...from my experience, finding a stable pick has an end, if we're talking about that. When you really discover what sound you like, you kinda stop there, it seems like it's an

$20 iem advice

I prefer the Gate, but keep in mind that I main Sennheiser HD560S and I really like that sound, so my preference is neutral/neutral-bright. Gates are pretty flat for the price and I think they sound amazing for the price. They are about 80% close to HD560S if you ask me. That's like 8x the value, wh
