It could just be me, but 34” ultra wide is kinda small to me, 49” is more my speed so that the height is taller making the monitor closer to a traditional 34” monitor! I guess I should follow up here, and maybe to help someone else's problem- my actual issue was sometimes my Odyssey G9 57 wouldn't come back up after re-connecting the laptop, or would sometimes come up, but be in the wrong resolution (i.e., 1920x1080). I found out that the issue is the DP(1.4) port
