Can you split one monitor into 2 fake monitors

Which monitor?? I have a Samsung G9 and in the settings on the monitor itself it has PIP/PBP which allows for splitting my 5120x1440p monitor into 2-2560x1440p monitors. You just need to connect 2 input cables. I have 1 HDMI and 2 DP inputs so I have 2 DP's connected. Don't mind the cable mess. My p

Curious about your experiences: Single Ultrawide vs. Triple Screen Setup?

I have a Odyssey G9 57, which is arguably the best single monitor solution. I chose it for aesthetics, ease of use, and because I enjoy several non-sim games, and there's no better monitor for some of those. That said, if better race craft is your goal, it's triples and it's not a debate. There's ju

Infinity mirror looks amazing above the G9...but is it worth $500+???

Yeah i hear you...what LG Ultragear mdoel did u end up with? I was torn between the two as well. Decided on the G9 Anti Glare version...i couldnt stand the glare from the lights at the store but the sales guy said Samsungs newest models come with anti glare, it was bit more and was worried it would

Recommend a good 27" 1440p 2nd monitor to pair with 5120 ultra wide?

Check out the Odyssey G50D, it’s 1440p, looks clean next to your G9, great for Discord on the side, super cheap, and works perfectly in portrait mode

Switching to Ultrawide: 49" vs 45" vs 40" for Ableton Live?

It could just be me, but 34” ultra wide is kinda small to me, 49” is more my speed so that the height is taller making the monitor closer to a traditional 34” monitor! I’m planning on getting the Samsung Odyssey G9 and think it is proportionally perfect for my use case scenario. I get what you mean

What's the best Monitor for MacBook Pro to get right now? Recommendation?

Have the Samsung G9 OLED, would recommend but know going into it that it only will work (at full throttle) via thunderbolt -> DP. Tried the 5k2k, would say they’re pretty much the same, but if you prefer a less wide screen I’d say go with that. I decided I liked the ultra wide more so I stuck with t

Does this count as "Hardware-PayToWin"?

I've got the G9. I've seen a lot of posts about dead pixels as well when I got mine, but Samsung just RMAs that if it really is a problem. Besides that, mine cracks here and there when warming up. - Nothing to worry about. Some have "scan lines" problems, not sure which exact models though, and afai

No USB-C or TB DP Alt Mode cable can improve on the underlying iGPU's standards, right?

I guess I should follow up here, and maybe to help someone else's problem- my actual issue was sometimes my Odyssey G9 57 wouldn't come back up after re-connecting the laptop, or would sometimes come up, but be in the wrong resolution (i.e., 1920x1080). I found out that the issue is the DP(1.4) port
