I ended up sticking with 1440p with my 5080. Got the Samsung G6 OLED (G60SD) and have been so happy with it. I can easily hit 360 fps on most FG titles. Or turn on smooth motion if FG is unsupported. I use DLSS 4.5 with preset M.

Talk more about the Diagonal dithering. I have a G5 and it's use is only for PC gaming at about 5 feet away. You can clearly see the diagonal dithering on my G5 in certain low light scenes. OLED is just a nice quality of life regardless of what you play, I’d say like 85% of OLEDS are all about the same for the most part so just do a little research around your price range. I enjoy my g60sd from Samsung but ASUS, Alienware etc all make good stuff.

I'd probably get the G6, to be honest. I really dislike that awful matte coating Samsung uses. I don't get why they put it on the flagship. In a dark room all it does is slightly blur the image, negating that sharpness for which OLED is renown. In a bright room, it massively worsens QD-OLED's raised

I got the Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD, which is regularly available for under 500€ in my region. It got great test results, but is now already 2 years old. There might be newer models for a better or similar price around by now If you're looking for a review and comparison of different monitors, I
