Recommendations for a Dakboard monitor?

Highly recommend the Samsung M80 series. It is not only a monitor, but also a smart TV. We have our Dakboard in the kitchen on a rotating mount. When cooking we turn the monitor horizontal and watch tv/youtube etc.

New to Dex with the S25U

yes, you can use a usb-c hub/dongle/dock that has power delivery (PD). yes, ethernet works fine, except oddly for some specific samsung applications. They've been stupid and hard coded them for cellular or wifi, it's pretty mind boggling. But in general. Yeah, you're fine with ethernet displayport > ...

Upgrading to 4k 32” Samsung UJ59

Im running the samsung smart monitor, M8. 32 inch, and can flip both ways, horizontal or vertical. Mouse and keyboard are always hooked up, and DeX-ing my phone gives it heaps of functionality (like a mini PC). Also has office built in, in addition to all the entertainment apps.

Samsung TV

advantage? yes generally samsung tv's speak miracast, so you can cast dex to the TV's it's not an amazing experience, there's a fair bit of latency, but if you're just looking to play media that way, it's perfectly acceptable the samsung smart MONITORS might even be a better option, in that size (m5...

Ok, I have been looking for over a week for what is a good monitor for an m4 and I am even more confused…

I have a samsung 32" 4k M8 smart monitor, works fine. Also have a Asus 32" 4k Pro Art, works better. I recommend 4k 120hz, and OLED if you can afford it.

Comparing the new version of GEM12 "max" with the previous one

I also have a gem12 8845hs from August and It work with a single cable from my Samsung smart monitor m8 (65 watts included dock). Of course I must lower the power limit in the bios (p3t settings) But the new gem12 max doesn't work with that same setup.

Best “bang for your buck” monitor for M4?

Samsung M8 is sometimes for sale at $399. For this you get a 32-inch 4k monitor, a built-in webcam, built-in speakers. And you only need to connect a single USB-C cable to your mini so it’s all super clean. I think this is a really good deal for what you get, especially if you value a neat desk (wou...

Samsung G80SD FW version 1313 | What changed?

I just got this update for my Samsung M8 (m80d) monitor. I'm manually downloading the firmware to see if it contains any information, but the file on Samsung's website is 1.6GB in size, and I'm not able to get more the 60KB/s from their server. Mind you, I have a gigabit connection in a WeWork offic...

Seeking monitor suggestions for PS5 and Macbook

Hi! I remember one guy purchased a 32 inch samsung monitor with the highest specs around 50k. Let me search and share link below. I am personally using LG 27GN800 for my M2 Pro and PS5, and it's been a delight. In built speakers could have gotten slightly more convenience. (I primarily game AAA on T...
