32" 4K vs 27" 5K for macOS: Screen real estate or text clarity?
Having had both, and having neither currently, the 32” offers more real estate and the text is more than crisp enough. Personal monitors background: Current setup: 2x 27” 4K at home (optimal solution for me). 1440p 27” at the office (not good text clarity) Previous home setups: LG 5K Ultrafine 27” —

Ok, I have been looking for over a week for what is a good monitor for an m4 and I am even more confused…
I have a samsung 32" 4k M8 smart monitor, works fine. Also have a Asus 32" 4k Pro Art, works better. I recommend 4k 120hz, and OLED if you can afford it.

Best “bang for your buck” monitor for M4?
Samsung M8 is sometimes for sale at $399. For this you get a 32-inch 4k monitor, a built-in webcam, built-in speakers. And you only need to connect a single USB-C cable to your mini so it’s all super clean. I think this is a really good deal for what you get, especially if you value a neat desk (wou

Looking for a good Mac screen alternative to the Apple Studio Display
I have two Samsung M8 4K UHD monitors and have been nothing but happy with them, it's been 2 years and use them all day every day. I have a 2023 M2 Max Mac Studio. I so badly wanted the Apple Studio displays but couldn't justify spending that much and I have no regrets.

Anyone have any recommendations for Monitors?
Oh I've tried so many. The answer is the LG 4k 27" Ultrafine 27UP650W. I got one, liked it so much, I even got a second. before that I have had: LG 5k Ultrafine: nice monitor, too expensive for what is worth. 5K is overpriced and makes near no difference to 4K replaced with Samsung M8 32" for extra

My 9800X3D is reaching 95°C at 100% usage on my new PC. Is this normal?
Thank You! That was a well thought out and perfectly worded answer. I appreciate that. I recently made a “step down” with my always over the top builds for myself. I went from and 7900x/RTX 4090 in a X670E Crosshair Hero. To a 9800x3d / RX 9070XT in a B850-g Strix and, to be honest I am extremely ha

How many of you use TVs as monitor and why?
I use a monitor as a tv ... Samsung m7 /m8. Don't need huge ass tv when you're sitting about 3.5 to 4m away from it. Old house so huge black screen doesn't suit the space.

Took a Leap of Faith on the ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 (AMD)
I just use one Samsung M8 32' 4k 60hz monitor with this laptop. I don't see any such surge. Keeps quite most of the time. Is it the case with with monitor unplugged also?

Torn between M3 and M4 iMac
Check out the Samsung Smart Monitor M8, it is a little bigger and has the camera and speakers, and comes in a couple different colors! You could also look at something in the Asus ProArt range! If you want to stay Apple, you could try to find a second hand Thunderbolt Display, it’s only 1440p but st
