My tablet gets way better battery on official LineageOS 22.2 (Galaxy Tab A8 2019). I can use it for days on one charge, it's crazy.

For comics, honestly, just bite the bullet on a budget Android tablet something like a Lenovo Tab M10 Plus or a used Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 around 10-11". They're $150-250, have decent color screens that pop for panels and colors without breaking the bank, and run apps like ComicRack or Moon+ Reader

I use a Galaxy Tab A8. Smooth on DC Infinite Universe with minimal lag and good screen size for comics imp. Battery lasts a long reading session too.

I'm no expert, but I do have a galaxy tab a8, it is great with regular tasks like lectures and tests, has good battery life, speakers and display. It is bad for gaming which helped me stay away from them 😝
