If you're fine using WSL, go for it. I have the Galaxy Book 5 Pro (non-360) and it works well for most tasks. Most compute bound tasks can be ran on servers anyways, and the bud switching feature + viewing samsung notes is quite useful. Gaming wise, it is kind of meh. My biggest regret is not buying

pro is too powerful option for your use case and on top of that gaming is not what you would like to do on ultrabooks. better get a good gaming laptop with a samsung tablet. ultrabooks are for office /college work ...are light/fast/fragile do buy extended accidental warranty btw you can go for book

1500 budget is a bit tight for the requests.
