Asus Co-CEO: MacBook Neo Is a 'Shock' to the PC Industry
Microsoft is $35 of the $500 dollars laptop. How do you make a PC that feels like a Mac and works like a Mac at a $499 price point? Yes, the Neo is $599. But with the $100 discount for students, it’s $499. Are you going to put in a Snapdragon 8 Elite and expect it to run Windows? The Samsung Galaxy

Ex-Windows chief Steven Sinofsky calls MacBook Neo "a paradigm shifting computer" — reflects on Surface failure and Windows on Arm while lamenting "we were early, but not wrong"
Yes. The problem is how PC manufacturers, and almost all consumer facing business set an artificially high MSRP knowing full well they truly intend to sell it at the 'sale' price. It's deceptive and bad for the consumer but it is the market they are buying in. I'm in the UK and right now it is prett

$500 of Surface laptop 15" from Costco
Snapdragon processor. Do not recommend. I have an ARM windows laptop (Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge) and it really does not like some of my apps / casual games. Fine for office, productivity, and web browsing, gets decent battery life, but the random unsupported apps is kind of disappointing. Not even t

Starting BS in Supply Chain
You can’t use a Chromebook. Must be Windows or Mac. I bought a Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge for about $400 during Black Friday and it’s great! I don’t know the regular price for it though. Any basic laptop will do; it’s not hard to meet their minimum requirements.

Apple's $599 MacBook Neo Sold Out Through April 2026 Amid Surging Demand
They make great internal components, but that's it. What else is there on a laptop? Lol The Galaxy Book 4 Edge is cheaper than the Neo https://www.currys.co.uk/products/samsung-galaxy-book4-edge-15.6-laptop-copilot-pc-snapdragon-x-256-gb-ufs-sapphire-blue-10290098.html

Need a laptop under 60000 INR for my mom.
Get the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge. Its generally priced at 65k but occasionally you can get it for around 60k or lower, and if you have a HDFC credit card, its an instant 5K off on Samsung Shop. For the work she has to do, its literally the perfect laptop. Great battery life, thanks to the ARM based

Help me buy a laptop pls
What applications do you need for coding? Assuming you don’t have specific needs that would cause compatibility issues, you could try the new snapdragon galaxy books. They’re pretty highly rated in consumer reports (which is slanted towards some niche criteria admittedly). Still, I borrowed one for

ThinkPad equivalent to Macbook Neo
There is literally no windows laptop that meets the price/performance of the Neo. I'm not sure I totally agree with that. I bought my Acer Swift Go 14 with a Snapdragon X Plus CPU (which is more powerful than the A18 Pro), 16GB of RAM (double the amount), a 1TB (four times the Neo base model), a 120

Are you generally happy with your Snapdragon laptops and Windows 11 on ARM?
I have the Asus Vivobook S 14 Q423 (Intel 226V) and the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 15 (Snapdragon X Plus X1-42-100). It really depends on workloads. Both of these have VERY similar watts per performance, similar performance, similar battery life. Both can edit 4k video in DaVinci Resolve, however as
