PS5 Pro discussion--What are your thoughts on the console vs the base PS5?
My personal opinion is that it is 100 percent worth it if you have the right setup for it. I have mine hooked up to a 77-inch Samsung S90D and a surround sound system, and I've been having a blast replaying everything I had on the base 5 and seeing how much better everything plays. I'm an FPS snob,

PSA: On LG TVs, set your Dynamic Tone Mapping to HGIG to properly display Switch 2 HDR
Apparently, on some TVs, they disable 1440p when you turn game mode on. Like my Samsung S90D 😒

DLSS 4.5 Presets M and L: it is not that "M is only good for Perf, L is only good for UP"
On my Samsung S90D 65 OLED the difference was HUGE.

Best 65 Inch OLED TV to buy?
I would say if money isn't a barrier then go with the LG G5. It's considered the best. After that probably the Bravia 8 II, then Samsung S95D or F, then LG C5 or Samsung S90D or F. Panasonic has an OLED that is decent and for cheaper options the LG B4/5 or Samsung S84/S85F. I wouldn't bother with Ph

Best gaming monitor for 5090
I have a 7800x3d/Tuf 5090 combo and I love my AW3425DW. I can have fairly high fidelity settings and still hit 150+ fps in most games. I have a 65” Samsung S90d OLED that I originally was gaming on but the 1440p ultra wide is my go to. If you prefer higher fps go 3440x1440 oled.

I feel like I was lied to
A little over a year ago I upgraded from a 2017 mid-range Samsung LCD to a 65" Samsung QD-OLED S90D and difference is night and day. Also when HDR is implemented correctly it brings the visual experience to a new level. Further more, technologies like VRR come really handy in numerous games like Eld

Is it worth it to wait?
Guy sold me on an OLED. I didn’t wanna spend the money but I was looking at a LGC4 and a Samsung S90D and they both looked insanely good. I ended up with a 65 inch S90D and a 5 year warranty. Almost spent 2K after everything but I feel it was worth it. Especially for gaming.

Finally upgrading from my old and trustworthy 1070ti, just waiting for black friday/cyber monday to pull the trigger on it. Anything i should consider with this build?
He is playing 1440p 480hz, which is still way easier to drive than 4k, and still looks amazing... There is a reason for years YouTubers made videos" 4k gaming is dumb". It's a every pricey sport, requires top of the line graphics all the time... I assure you playing 1440p at 240+ hz is way better th
