Samsung S95D bit the dust after 6 months
Don't forget to post a review on Samsung website. If more people took a bit of extra time to do that it would warn other people. My S90D has been dead for 1 month and still waiting for Samsung to repair. https://www.samsung.com/nz/tvs/oled-tv/s90d-65-inch-oled-4k-tizen-os-smart-tv-qa65s90dasxnz/#rev

Absolutely do not understand the “hate” for the Samsung S90D - got mine delivered today and just finished hanging it…I feel like I’ve never watched TV or a movie before
The main reason they hate it is no Dolby Vision support (cause Samsung swears by HDR10+) Keep in mind that's an enthusiast subreddit, you could be like "Wow S90D is 1/3 the price of any equivalent and I can't afford any more" and they'd still tell you not to buy it lol. "You should invest more in a

Every other modern TV type is “trash” and you’re apparently a bad person for even considering them. this is FALSE there is becoming this circlejerk that OLED is the best and everything else is shit. Courts sides with Samsung: decide that TCLpanels are not real QLED, lack color and composition of QLED
Samsung markets its S90D/S90F TVs as premium “QD-OLED” (the good quantum-dot panels with superior colour), but actually ships a random mix of real QD-OLED and cheaper WOLED panels with zero labelling, zero warning in ads, and zero indication on the box. In Australia you only get the real QD-OLED on

[UPDATE] Samsung repair technician cracked my TV and is refusing to take responsibility. They ended my warranty 4 months early due to the damage.
Fuck good luck with samsung they are horrible to deal with. They sent me a "new" s90d with no screen protector and no internal programming. They said that that model didn't come with any protective film obviously blatantly lied. Said I advise you to clean the screen. Got passed around 10 times in ch

Well, wish I couldve had you fix my TV instead of these guys. Just one correction that I don’t blame you for not knowing because this is samsungs fault. You have to flip this massive tv on its face to access the motherboard and the power board due to the leg design. The legs overlap the rear panel r
