KDE VR Mode and ordinary stuff you can do with it

The cheapest solution is AR glasses like Rokid Max or Xreal Air. I think Quest 2 could be an option if you want more FOV (but I wouldn't recommend it, due to low pixel density and need to check if WiVRn still supports it)

GPD Win 5 will replace my gaming desktop

Consider AR glasses. Very light. I use Rokid max with gpd win 4 and win max 2. Good enough.

What’s your “I always pack this even though no one else does” travel item?

I've used AR glasses for more than 3 years as a wearable display for my phone/handheld gaming pc/laptop. I have come along to the point I don't even need the laptop anymore, as the glasses make a expansive floating display in front of my eyes that covers up my 83" TV from 10 feet away. I carry them

After Ditching Meta Headset Plans, Asus Partners with XREAL on ROG AR Glasses with 240Hz Display

Anytime AR glasses get brought up in this sub, people think of them with that bias of VR and do the echo chamber criticisms again. It's not gonna supplant VR as it's a different use case. For comparing with a TV, I have Xreal One Pros and the microOLEDs I would rather use to play flat gaming and wat

Anyone else enjoy watching movies on your headset?

If I had an AVP - because that's the only high res OLED panel w HDR/Dolby Vision support. I have giant OLED and projector screen in my house otherwise. If I traveled more, I'd probably get an AVP, but for now my Rokid Max glasses have microOLEDs (no HDR though). I'm not viewing movies on non-OLED di

Galaxy Flip 7 vs Fold 7, more impressed by the Flip 7!

If it really has wired DeX - I'm adding this to my setup and trading in my Fold 6 for it. I'm already getting a Flip for my wife - but if DeX runs well enough for me to remote into my home and work servers then I really don't have a need for the Fold or a laptop/tablet if I can plug my AR glasses in

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 supports Samsung DeX, making it the first Z Flip to do so

I need clarification whether it's just wireless DeX or whether I can plug my Rokid Max ar glasses and use DeX that way. If so, I'd trade my Fold 6 for a Flip 7 - as I don't even use the big screen when I can plug in the glasses to get a much bigger screen than the Fold or even a laptop. Wireless DeX

What's a cool versatile gadget you brought along with you?

I go back and forth between my Win 4 and Ayaneo Flip KB (I prefer this control placement over the Win Mini). What makes the handhelds even MORE travel versatile? A set of AR glasses from Rokid/Viture/Xreal. I'm never going back to a regular laptop since the glasses give me a floating display larger

XR Glasses

I have the Rokid Max glasses and couldn't be happier with them. 1200p 120Hz OLED portable wearable monitor. I got them from a secondhand store for £150 absolutely amazing.

Should i buy the Legion go gen 2 glasses for 300$?

There are better alternatives. I ended up with the Rokid Max glasses, 1200p 120Hz. Amazing
