The cheapest solution is AR glasses like Rokid Max or Xreal Air. I think Quest 2 could be an option if you want more FOV (but I wouldn't recommend it, due to low pixel density and need to check if WiVRn still supports it)

XR Glasses
I have the Rokid Max glasses and couldn't be happier with them. 1200p 120Hz OLED portable wearable monitor. I got them from a secondhand store for £150 absolutely amazing.

Rokid Joy AR at $200 - Worth it?
What about the Rokid Magic Pack? Its listed for 199$ which has the following: Rokid Max AR Glasses, the Rokid Station 1, and the Rokid Hub If you're already spending 199$ for the Joy Pack, might as well get the bundle which has another item for the same price (or am i reading the website wrong?)

Which bundle for 2026? Rokid AR Lite Set vs. XREAL One S + Beam Pro
Haven't tried the Xreals, but DO own the rokid gen1 and max 2 bundles with the original station and the Spatial station as well...I also have the viture one xr and neck band. My short answer ...the rokid are better, either version. Beautiful picture, and they just work. I'm not a fan of the station

Reliability: Glad you haven't had any display issues after that type of heavy use (at least relative to most people using display glasses today). When you're ready to upgrade to the next glasses, let me know - I'd love to get this pair and measure the OLED spectra and max luminance at max brightness

Neckband with Rokid Max
Neckband Pro only provides those features for Viture glasses. For the Rokid Max 2 you either need to get the Rokid Station 2 or the InAir Pod. I recommend the Pod.

Looking for high refresh 20" or smaller screen

Galaxy XR owners: How is the virtual keyboard experience? Can you use glide/swipe typing?
