I have two vacs in HomeKit via Matter at present, the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, and the Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni. I can only speak about our experiences, but both our previous and current Roborock (S6 MaxV and S8 Pro Ultra) have navigated our apartment flawlessy for a combined 5½ years. Not once got stuck or couldn't find their way back to the dock.
