Feeling Scammed After Buying RingConn Gen 2 — Thanks to ShortCircuit
So, I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else avoid the same mistake.
A few months back, I watched the ShortCircuit video on the RingConn Gen 2 smart ring. I knew it was a paid promotion and not a full LTT-style review, but still there’s a certain level of trust I have with that

Ring vs watch for workout tracking
I don't think RingConn is really for tracking workouts. I used it for a year to track my sleep and steps, and it was accurate for that, but it never showed my heart rate above 120 bpm. As soon as it hit 120, it just stayed there, so I could never get accurate calorie burn during my workouts. Oura is

OpenCircuit - Release 30. Cool new features and updates
Been using Open Circuit for about 24 hours now and ran into a pretty frustrating bug with sleep tracking.I slept from 2:00 AM to 9:30 AM last night. Open Circuit logged it as 8:32 PM – 5:49 AM — nowhere close to accurate. For comparison, my HUAWEI GT2 Pro tracked the correct sleep window, so I know

Using a smart ring for sleep and a watch for workouts?
I have a RingConn 2 and a Galaxy smartwatch. I bought the RingConn 2 specifically to track my sleep patterns. Compared to my Galaxy's sleeptracking, the RingConn consistently rates a typical night's sleep higher in both deep sleep, REM sleep and overall sleep quality. At the same time, the RingConn

The problem of lying in bed after waking up with RingConn
I bought the RingConn to help me with my sleep patterns. After going to bed at 10:30, waking up at 2 and spending the rest of the night reading, playing games, and scrolling on my iPhone, I saw that I was rated as having ten hours of sleep. This has happened multiple times for me. There has to be a b

Sleep Data feels wrong.
Based on your logic. Waking up at 6am from going to bed at 11pm and actually feeling good in the morning is not enough data to tell me the ring data is wrong when the ring scored my sleep at a 60. But on nights it claims have 85+ sleep score i wake up completely exhausted. You dont get it. the quest

Genuinely at a loss - having a mental breakdown but somehow I’m “peaceful” (gen 3)
The ring is really sensitive to shakes of the hand, counting them as steps. I rocked my baby for about 30 minutes and it counted it as over 3,000 steps. I even checked my indoor camera footage to make sure I was home during that timeframe and witnessed myself rocking him. It pisses me off so bad bec

Outlier
It's always possible. I compare readings from my Wellue O2 sensor, Samsung Smart Ring, SleepOn Sleep Tracker and RingConn Gen 2. I've compared readings after several nights sleeping with CPAP, without CPAP, with my Inspire device turned on and both CPAP and Inspire turned on. I then compare all of t
