Ugh, I wish dusty rose worked for me. I spent something like 20 years wondering why the most beautiful dusky roses always looked overly saturated and/or turned orange on me. Revlon Laidback Lilac does this on me. I had high hopes for it when I swatched it on my hand next to Glazed Mauve because it looked like an opaque version of Glazed Mauve. Nope, what I got was bright pink.

Maybe something like Revlon Laidback Lilac? It'd heavily depend on your skintone (depth + saturation + undertone) though how mauve-nude it pulls. How neutral and neutral adjacent shades apply are so dependent on one's own skintone so it's definitely tricky to find the perfect shade!

A lot of olives love Whirl, but that one is very brown on me. It’s funny how much our underlying lip pigment can completely change how a given lipstick shade looks from person to person. I think Soar does on me what Whirl does for a lot of other olives. I have very muted lips that are very cool tone
