Drugstore makeup can be good and I regret spending on high-end brands for years

Closest dupe to this lip colour?
Revlon Super lustrous glass shine lipsticks and Maybelline Lifter Glaze oil balm are similar formulas. I'm not sure if there's an exact shade match, but probably something close.

Why are lip balms getting so expensive??
The Revlon glass shine balm is like eleven dollars and feels fantastic on the lips. No way in hell would I spend fifty bucks on lip balm. These companies are out of their minds.

What’s a good dupe to the Revlon super lustrous glass shine lipsticks
This is the closest dupe i’ve found (formula wise) The top swatch is that of Revlon super lustrous glass shine lipstick in Dewy Peach (my brother accidentally got the wrong shade from the US …i asked for rum raisin lol) The lower swatch is of the Milani Color Fetish Balm Lipstick in the shade Nylon.

Lipstick colour recommendations
Maybe Revlon Glass Shine Lipstick, if you're able to get it, in shades Beaming Strawberry and/or Glossed Up Rose. Is high end makeup worth it?
'Worth it' is impossible to answer in general terms. For me? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I would say the big difference b/w luxury (Dior etc) and low-end (Priceline brands) is that luxury makeup is consistently better & there are more interesting/nuanced shades. If your priority is buying something
