3d Pad Alternative
retro bit saturn pro controller. I have one, would recommend. There are problems like the stick being tiny but if you get past that its good.

Is there a better universal pad than the 8bitdo m30? Maybe even a better Saturn style?
Not really, that’s the best IMO. But if you want something that can truly be used for basically anything the retro-bit Saturn Pro controller is decent, it has dual analogs and R2 buttons as well as six face buttons.

Honest reviews about D pad for fighting games only, please let me know about the feedback
I have the 8bit m30 pad it’s very goood, i also have the retro bit saturn pro pad with the analog bluetooth one D pad is good too. I’m actually getting this pad tomorrow so I will let you know.

8bitdo M30 and Retro bit Saturn Pro Dpads > everything. On the BFG reloaded....they got close with the simple cross style d-pad.

On the changes you're asking for, you're describing the Retro-bit Saturn Pro. Try that one. It's the best fightpad right now, I believe.

Deciding on a fight pad
If you want the same button layout as a traditional controller I suggest the new Gulikit Elves 2 (The normal not the pro version). The latest ad cheaper version is superior to the Pro. It has a 730Hz polling rate via bluetooth which is crazy. It's a really great controller for fighting games. Apart
