Reolink or Dahua
I bought wireless Reolink cameras (E1 Zoom, TrackFlex), as it'd be cost prohibitive to drag PoE. It's a bloody mess with Frigate. There are all sorts of encoding issues and I'm having to do software re-encoding for it to work. Also, the Frigate-based autotrack doesn't work. The cameras themselves ar

The Good ‘ol Daus
I got a "REOLINK E1 Pro" with some Amazon coupon, they're always on sale. But I don't think it is anything special, it is just cheap, and has RTSP/ONVIF and PTZ. There are many alternatives from other manufacturers. I did have to use their app for initial setup, enable RTSP/ONVIF, and then restart t

Lige flyttet i større hus - tid til valg af hjemmenetværk, sikkerhed og overvågning
Jeg har haft Reolink E1 Pro og Wh320 i nogle måneder gennem Home Assistent, der fungerer meget fornuftigt

Good RTSP camera for my LAN Website.
UPDATE! I got Reolink E1 PRO for 39 pounds (I'm based in the UK) and it's working great. I've set up Home Assistant like some of you suggested, and integrated the camera easily. (Turned off UID, so that it all stays local)

Security camera setup: Looking to start slow and build over time, but no clue where to start…
If the camera is going inside, the reolink e1 pro would probably do pretty well. It can record to a reolink nvr (obviously), frigate, or you can just put an SD card in it

Crashing out- baby monitor never woke us up and he cried all night
I recommend the Reolink E1 Pro camera. It has awesome detection for pets and baby crying. You can setup as a WiFi camera or run an Ethernet cable. I have it connected to home assistant, and setup an automation to turn on a lamp if it detects baby crying. Use any tablet or phone if you want the scree

Looking for Security Cameras suggestions : No Vendor Lock-In, App setup or Cloud ecosystem
I'll second Reolink cameras. I have mine hooked into both Home Assistant and Blue Iris, super easy with their built in RTSP support. I use both wired PoE cameras and WiFi E1 Pro cameras. You either need to use a Reolink Home Hub or a Reolink NVR to use a webpage config but all of the PoE cameras I'm

Recommendation for a budget indoor camera
For an indoor camera with motorized pan-title and no subscription, maybe look at Reolink (E1 Pro) or Amcrest (ProHD) if you must buy a camera made in Shenzhen. For $40-$60 they offer an indoor pan-tilt camera implementing open standards like RTSP and with an optional ethernet jack to work around unr

Looking for an indoor PTZ camera that doesn't need apps or cloud
Does anyone know if the Reolink E1 Pro is entirely configurable direct from a self-hosted administration page According to Reolink, the E1 pro is not accessible via web browser. Additionally, configuring the camera requires that you download and launch the Reolink App or Client software; this is tru
