From Google Nest to Eufy s4 NVR?
Check this out - I want to get something today on cyber monday - https://reolink.com/product/nvr-duo-3v-poe/ They look very cool - sure no PTZ, but I think I just made my decision of Reolink. May not get this specifically, however whatever I get, I will add a few of these Duo 3v.

Recommendation for placement of backyard camera
put a RL Duo 2 or Duo3 under the eve on the 2nd floor pointed a little downward and it will see everything from left corner of the house to right corner of the house. That's what I have on mine. https://reolink.com/product/reolink-duo-3v-poe/

Why haven’t panoramic/fisheye home security cameras become more popular?
I bought the REOLINK Duo 3V PoE last year. Thing is awesome.

Confused with what camera we need, battery, wifi, poe, 1080/2k/4k etc, just for our residential property? I was considering 1080p main front camera, possibly PoE or USB powered.
If it does what you're looking that's all that matters. it has IR floods I don't know of any camera that doesn't have IR lights on it otherwise it's night mode would be completely useless. I mention the separate IR floodlights as additional fill light. If the Camera were installed in the middle of a
