Took a look at Reolink options as I'm on the phone (on hold) with a vendor, looks like the RLC-1224A would be a solid choice to try. It has in-camera pet/person/vehicle detection with App based notifications and no subscription for those notifications (they say). 12MP sensor which is well above 4K b

Bruh, Reolink is great. They are literally known for the fact that they don’t require a subscription. I mounted a Duo 3V POE cam under my 2nd-floor eave and it’s worked great and given me no issues. Just got 2nd camera - RLC-520A to go in my side yard. And I’m getting a cheap Reolink 360-degree cam

Thanks for replying. Just a curiosity, why is reolink advertising those duo cams in outdoors? Of course the use case should be below ceilings and protected spots from rain and direct sunlight.. https://reolink.com/product/reolink-duo-3v-poe/
