Argus PT Ultra

Anything Reolink is my suggestion. I got the Altas PT Ultra myself for the back garden and it’s top notch.. quality is perfect day or night, charged by solar and runs 24/7. App is really easy to use, lots of features and easy to access past events. No subscription required as it records to an SD car

For this very same thing I use REOLINK First 4K Solar Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor, Argus PT Ultra+Solar Panel, with 360° Pan Tilt Auto-Tracking. I use this to watch which birds are at the feeders. On a larger screen it may be a bit grainy.

Reolink and Frigate have been nightmares for me. The Reolink cameras seem to have broken frame sequencing, so I have to transcode my streams. Ok, if you want to learn the hard way... You already want something to bridge so you will have to go with Reolink, because it is the best brand for Wi-Fi cameras. Prefer plugged in Wi-Fi cameras and avoid using battery powered. If you have a floodlight you want to replace, then replace it with Reoli

I just went through this. Still using Arlo Pro 2's with base station. There was no way to upgrade and add 4k cameras without paying subscription. I added 2 wifi Argus PT Ultra's that are also solar, stuck 256 gb microsd cards in them and would never buy another Arlo, but I'll still use them till I h
