Best wireless outdoor cameras without subscriptions

The reolink Altas Pt Ultra is the only camera in the market, that I'm aware of, that is battery powered and that can record 24/7 to some degree. Any other wireless camera can't record 24/7, they just record motion/detection events. IMO, for a battery powered camera there is no better solution than t

Trying to find a security camera

For a remote spot, look at the Reolink Go PT Ultra or the Eufy 4G LTE Cam S330. Both use a SIM card to connect directly to cell towers and come with built-in solar panels so you never have to charge them. Or trail cam is another good option.

Two hours on hold. Good bye arlo.

Hold onto those Pros, they are the last of the Arlos that work. If you upgrade you will be have endless frustrations with them. I’ve had lots of Arlo cameras models since 2013 and the last few years since they make you pay high subscription prices they have gone to crap and don’t work well. I just s

Securities cameras getting stolen as a prank?

I’d look into a camera with local storage on an SD card and a battery backup, or better yet, a Reolink Altas PT Ultra. It records 24/7 to an internal SD card even if the WiFi is cut. Also, hide a trail cam (the kind hunters use) high up in a tree, they’re battery-powered, camouflage, and don't need

Looking to Upgrade from Ring (Possibly Reolink or Unifi)

Ok, if you want to learn the hard way... You already want something to bridge so you will have to go with Reolink, because it is the best brand for Wi-Fi cameras. Prefer plugged in Wi-Fi cameras and avoid using battery powered. If you have a floodlight you want to replace, then replace it with Reoli

WARNING: ARLO IS A WASTE OF MONEY!!!

I just went through this. Still using Arlo Pro 2's with base station. There was no way to upgrade and add 4k cameras without paying subscription. I added 2 wifi Argus PT Ultra's that are also solar, stuck 256 gb microsd cards in them and would never buy another Arlo, but I'll still use them till I h

Best Outdoor Surveillance Camera with Person Detect and no WIFI

Reolink are quite good. They can be battery powered and they have the ability to mask certain areas like the road which will trigger it to record when cars pass. They are motion activated so every-time someone walks past they will record. They do an app of course so you can get notifications if link

No outdoor PTZ camera?

So that’s not how my Reolink camera works. As in it doesn’t auto track anything. But as the user or homeowner I can move it left right up down from my phone, amywhere in the world. That’s a pretty big deal in my opinion and the particular camera, a Reolink Argus PT Ultra is several years old at this
