If you're fully aware of the compromises of the Gallery display (lower contrast, flashing for color updates, etc.) and would use the color/frontlight, then yeah it's nice. The Pure is also a great device, CPU is about twice as fast as the rM2, double the RAM, way more storage, the screen refreshes a

What is your use case? Finding hard to justify keeping my paper pure
I have always been a digital early adopter, so had my eye on the first reMarkable, but at the time was working on a single focused research program so my fountain pen & Moleskine (along with official digital lab notebook of course) was more than enough. Then 5 years ago I shifted roles at my company

Just bought the Paper Pro and all my skepticism vanished. I'm loving it.
Enjoy it. I love writing on mine too. I have 3 tablets from reMarkable. The Pro, the Pure and the Move. The Pro is my favourite.

Pure or Nomad?
it mostly comes down to whether you want a powerful note-management system or the cleanest possible writing experience. The Supernote is better for heavy note-takers, students, researchers, and people who like organizing interconnected notes because it has stronger linking, structure, and long-term

Pure helpful for work?
As someone who also manages multiple projects and spends a good part of the day in meetings, I found that the biggest benefit of reMarkable wasn’t replacing my laptop - it was replacing the constant context switching between paper notes, calendar, and task apps. What really made it click for me was

I love my Paper Pro as well. It came in handy while in college, particular for my three math classes (College Algebra 2, Business Calculus, and Statistics) where the large canvas for graphing and using color to write out my steps, or showing graph movements where important. I really like the writing

Is Remarkable 2 a good buy in 2026?
The RM2 is an amazing device I used exclusively for about 4 years until I got the Move last year and the Pure last month (sold the RM2 months ago and selling the Move soon). For me it has a great screen size and the writing experience is awesome. I love the Pure and have found that I love the new ac

reMarkable 2 to Paper Pure (or change to Supernote?)
I have read the Pure feels more gritty, but I think it feels very similar to my Move. Maybe I’m an outlier here. I have been using the ReMarkables over my Supernotes lately for most things, because of the infinite scrolling page. I love it. If Supernote had this I’d switch back in a heartbeat. I lik

Update: Replacement Pure has the same writing accuracy issue
cr8tvt - Not sure what is going on. Tried today and it's perfect on my RMPP, I have reset the device a few times since the last update trying to clear the ghosting issue it has since the last update, so that may have done something to clear the offset. Only getting a lot of the "green" ghosting now

Pure helpful for work?
I have been a reMarkable user for about six years and now own a reMarkable Paper Pure that I use for my business which works great for my brainstorming and jotting down quick notes. I also complement the reMarkable with my digital pen and notebook solution called XNote, which bridges analog and digi
