I used to like Remarkable, but time to move on?
The reMarkable devices are distraction-free note-taking devices that excel at that singular function. A Kindle Scribe is an ereader with limited note-taking features. Last I checked (I have the 2022 version) it is still in 2026 not up to the same features the RM2 had in 2022. Plus Amazon has abandon

What is your use case? Finding hard to justify keeping my paper pure
I have always been a digital early adopter, so had my eye on the first reMarkable, but at the time was working on a single focused research program so my fountain pen & Moleskine (along with official digital lab notebook of course) was more than enough. Then 5 years ago I shifted roles at my company

Feature request- real assistance for lost or stolen tablets
The Pro, Move, and Pure aren't brickable. You can reflash the bootloader and firmware easily over USB. I don't support artificially adding the ability to brick a device. I doubt any theft-prevention measures would really work, most people don't know what a reMarkable is, let alone if it has theft-pr

My morning planning setup lately: coffee, reMarkable, and a planner that stays in sync
Yes, we do have plans for the Move. Dayfolio was designed mainly for the reMarkable Paper Pro, so the current layout/resolution is not optimized for the Move yet. It works well on reMarkable 2 and Paper Pure as well, since their dimensions are almost identical to the Paper Pro, just without the colo

Pure or Nomad?
it mostly comes down to whether you want a powerful note-management system or the cleanest possible writing experience. The Supernote is better for heavy note-takers, students, researchers, and people who like organizing interconnected notes because it has stronger linking, structure, and long-term

Paper Pure vs. Manta
Thanks for calling this out, that has been the general consensus from many about that 300 ppi thing. Its a passed around talking point, while true, especially with the Pure and contrast similar I have both and I feel contrast on the Pure is crisper than the Manta. My manta was slow at opening larger

Alright fam, what's the scoop on eNotebooks like reMarkable, Supernote, etc.?
oh. I mean in that case there are a lot of options open to you. especially because you won't be sacrificing as much on reMarkable because its application ecosystem is so good these days -- the mod community is very active. I would be tempted to recommend a rM Pure for this. you can also roll your ow

Pure helpful for work?
As someone who also manages multiple projects and spends a good part of the day in meetings, I found that the biggest benefit of reMarkable wasn’t replacing my laptop - it was replacing the constant context switching between paper notes, calendar, and task apps. What really made it click for me was

Is the Pure bundle (sleeve folio + marker plus) worth the extra 70€? Why?
You can also flip it over and the firm back can serve as a writing surface. I wish they had a folio but if you a new to remarkable, they stated it prior to the release and the very first statement during launch, they created a cost friendly version that allows more people to enter into the reMarkabl

Just bought the Paper Pro and all my skepticism vanished. I'm loving it.
I love my Paper Pro as well. It came in handy while in college, particular for my three math classes (College Algebra 2, Business Calculus, and Statistics) where the large canvas for graphing and using color to write out my steps, or showing graph movements where important. I really like the writing
