What is your use case? Finding hard to justify keeping my paper pure

I have always been a digital early adopter, so had my eye on the first reMarkable, but at the time was working on a single focused research program so my fountain pen & Moleskine (along with official digital lab notebook of course) was more than enough. Then 5 years ago I shifted roles at my company

Entirely new to Remarkable products, trying to figure out if I should get the Pro with keyboard or Pure and hope for a keyboard option

The Pro isn't going anywhere, it's the current flagship. IMO there won't be an official keyboard for the Paper Pure at any point from rM, it lacks the pogo pins previous Type Folios used for connectivity. The largest differences are the Pure is a black and white device without a frontlight. The Pro

My morning planning setup lately: coffee, reMarkable, and a planner that stays in sync

Yes, we do have plans for the Move. Dayfolio was designed mainly for the reMarkable Paper Pro, so the current layout/resolution is not optimized for the Move yet. It works well on reMarkable 2 and Paper Pure as well, since their dimensions are almost identical to the Paper Pro, just without the colo

Purchasing advice: Pro or Pure?

For your use case I'd recommend the Paper Pro, as long as you check out some youtube video reviews first and verify that you are okay with the refresh flashing behaviour - people seem polarised on this, some can't ignore it whilst others don't seem to be bothered. I'm more in the latter camp, though

Accessibility with Remarkable Devices - which to buy?

The Pro is quite a bit heavier than the Pure (525g v 360g) if that's a factor for you. It's also quite a bit larger. If you need color, a frontlight, or the ability to use the type folio accessory, those would steer you towards the Pro compared to the Pure. reMarkable's software does not support usi

Still partial to the reMarkable 2

While I prefer the rM2, mine no longer has the capability to sync due to storage limitations. I was having this discussion with a recent unboxing video and as discussed, the Pure is not necessary a needed upgrade for the rM2 users. I always point out that the very first sentence on the launch and sl

Is Remarkable 2 a good buy in 2026?

The RM2 is an amazing device I used exclusively for about 4 years until I got the Move last year and the Pure last month (sold the RM2 months ago and selling the Move soon). For me it has a great screen size and the writing experience is awesome. I love the Pure and have found that I love the new ac

Pro or paper pure?

It’s really comes down to two things: color and light. If you were fine with the rM2 and have no desire for a light or color, get the Pure. If you found yourself sometimes struggling without the light and/or want to add color to your notebooks, then the Pro is the option. I love having color, but ho

Does anyone actually use their reMarkable for reading books / EPUBs?

"I know the obvious answer is “just use a Kindle for books and the reMarkable for notes” 😅, and I could carry both. But I’d honestly love to carry only the Move and use it for both reading and writing." Where I have settled for the moment is having three different reading devices. The reMarkable Pur

Entirely new to Remarkable products, trying to figure out if I should get the Pro with keyboard or Pure and hope for a keyboard option

Lots of good advice and helpful insights here, so I'll try not to duplicate what's been said. I've been a reMarkable user for 3 years, I own the rM2 with type folio keyboard and I bought the Paper pro with type folio a week ago. I was close to leaving reMarkable, mainly because I thought I wanted a
