I actually have a support ticket in with reMarkable currently about the inconsistent texture of the Pure’s screen. It’s very noticeable when using the eraser in particular. Will circle back when they respond with any updates.

Supernote vs Remarkable
You can mod your reMarkable via the reManager tool and install KOReader on it. If flickering bothers you, I think there is a mod to make the Move monochrome. The better-toc and link-from-selection mods also get the rM more on par with SN. Many people find workarounds for the subscription features to
