reMarkable's Excuses for Business Failure

I ordered six reMarkable 2 tablets between 2022 and 2024 for our company as an IT admin. While they definitely have their upsides compared to an iPad, the following experiences were dealbreakers for us: 3 out of 6 devices had to be sent in for RMA, and the RMA process was honestly pretty bad. We’re

Is it too much to ask for thinness slider?

Absolutely! The fineliner definitely needs a thickness between thin and medium. Thin is barely a scratch, especially on the Pro where the "black" and "white" contrast is lower than on the rM2. The medium is just a little too sloppy for small writing styles. I've frequently written this request to th

If you had/tried a remarkable and went with something else, what was it?

I started off with reMarkable 2 a few years ago, but after a year with it, I found it a bit too lacking when it came to my novel writing. I ended up buying a Boox tablet and I love it for novel writing. I can use all the reading apps on it, I can handwrite on it and still replace all my paper notebo

Is the Viwoods AIPaper a good fit for me?

I presently own a reMarkable 2, Boox Note2, & an AiPaper. The reMarkable 2 has long been a staple in the E-Ink market, but it is currently hampered by aging hardware and a restrictive subscription model that gates basic cloud syncing features. With only 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, it str

Whats the idea Remarkable?

The display, processor, storage, battery life, and (maybe) battery replaceability are all improvements. The stylus, design, and lack of type folio support are (at least arguably) downgrades. It looks like the positioning is an entry-level budget device, rather than a premium device (which is how the

You can't buy reMarkable 2 anymore?!

What killed my interest in reMarkable devices the most is that they stopped using EMR pens. I have zero interest in switching there. They work great and I like that I can use the same pens with all my devices, from a Wacom graphics tablet to my e-ink readers. After buying the rm2 I picked up the fir

Tried so many devices.. Still prefer the feel of writing with ny rmppm.

Battery is definitely not an issue for me too since it NEVER went below 5 blocks even after hours of continuous writing. But the writing accuracy got to a point where it would interrupt my studying. I take a lot of aesthetically pleasing notes, and as a person with objectively neat handwriting, it f

my take about Beta 3.24: Convert Word Document to Notebook,

I feel a little weird responding to an AI-written blog. I apologize if you're not a native English speaker. Anyway, when you describe what the release actually does, you clearly indicate the deficiencies. However, your positive statements only refer to what you imagine this could become. The problem

Looking for a reMarkable or similar

I have a reMarkable 2, but I find my Boox tablets more useful. Boox allows you to download apps (like a calculator) so I'm able to do more with it. My reMarkable is mostly a paper notebook replacement so I use it to sketch and write notes.

Need opinions on why I should choose the reMarkable Paper Pro over the Supernote Manta

The Super Note is sluggest compared to the reMarkable 2, but it's pretty equal to the Pro and Move because those rM devices are slow in different ways (like waiting for the Marker to wake up, for a long page to scroll, for the refresh to trigger).
