Guidance for buying a laptop
You need to define the games and reasonable price. And as a software engineer, are you going to run VMs? Or an IDE and tool chain? Regardless, my current go to for gaming and software work is Razor. But to me the biggest deal is sound. I can't handle a laptop that gets loud so I adjust the settings

I tried a Razer Blade yesterday for the first time and I'm both impressed and underwhelmed
I opened it up yesterday to clean it off, I didn't see any point of contact between the bottom case and any kind of heatsink. The top case was kinda hot, but it wasn't that bad around the keyboard area, the biggest problem was right over the keyboard, right over the heatsinks. It's seriously hot aft

Razer adjustable laptop stand and razer blade 18 2025
i ran into this with my blade 15. the razer stand covers some vents but honestly the gap underneath is big enough that airflow doesn't get choked. the stand lifts the back up so the fans pull air from the sides and front anyway. just make sure you're not blocking the main intake grilles completely.

Just bought Razer Blade 4090 2023
Hey, I have a Razer Blade 15 Adv 3070ti i7 12800h, I have owned it since 2022 without any issues and decent care to cleaning fans etc. I bought it initially for university and gaming on the side and it had decent battery life when I used throttle stop and optimized my windows 11, maybe 3-6 hours dep

Can you help me find a good laptop on ebay that can run fornite at 60+ fps or more at low setings under 120$
The only way you'll get good looking framerates for $120 right now is a secondhand console, or a secondhand high end android phone. If you're lucky being ridiculously patient on ebay, you can definitely find something, but that kind of listing is a once a year type of find, if is it isn't stolen. Hi

Razer Blade 15 (2020) 15.6" for $450?
I had that exact Razer blade, in silver. Served me well from 2020-2024, then I upgraded to the 18 inch in silver. The 15 inch was def a “nicer” size. The 18 really is a portable desktop. I sold the 15 inch to my dad for 500 bucks in 2024 and that was def a family rate. They were mid 7-800s that summ

Do Not Buy Razer
I'm writing to you from my 2019 Razer Blade 15 Advanced (the silver one...that was fairly novel at the time; I don't know if they still make them in that color). Other than replacing batteries nearly annually, and redoing the thermal paste last year, it's been great.

Razer 16 2024 4080 32gb RAM 1TB SSD
I have the 2023 version of this laptop and got it for almost this exact price. I assume you’re talking USD, I got it for £1270 GBP refurbished, and I’ve still not seen a better deal, these laptops would have been £3000+ new. So at this price, the 2024 model is an absolute steal. My experience with i
