My first ever razer laptop

I purchased the 2018 Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model refurbished from Amazon in January 2020, and I use it basically every day, and it's still in good condition today. The ONLY issue I had with the laptop was a bulging battery about 1-2 years after purchase, and I just bought a replacement battery on

Do Not Buy Razer

Hmm, still rocking first gen Razer blade 15 gtx1070 2018, only one time battery replacement after 3 years usage. That was with help CS here on Reddit, got free replacement due bloated battery, outside warranty but maybe also lucky they looked my post about that blade15 launch here.

I tried a Razer Blade yesterday for the first time and I'm both impressed and underwhelmed

I opened it up yesterday to clean it off, I didn't see any point of contact between the bottom case and any kind of heatsink. The top case was kinda hot, but it wasn't that bad around the keyboard area, the biggest problem was right over the keyboard, right over the heatsinks. It's seriously hot aft

Replacing a blade battery

Just replaced my spicy pillow battery in a Razer Blade 15 (2021) using a replacement and tools from ifixit. There are videos you can follow for battery installations. It's not a difficult process once you have the right tools. Cost me about $100, and it feels like new again.

Just bought Razer Blade 4090 2023

Hey, I have a Razer Blade 15 Adv 3070ti i7 12800h, I have owned it since 2022 without any issues and decent care to cleaning fans etc. I bought it initially for university and gaming on the side and it had decent battery life when I used throttle stop and optimized my windows 11, maybe 3-6 hours dep

Yet another Blade 16 2025 rant

Damn, I must've gotten the only early batch blade without the trackpad issues it seems. Though to be fair I don't use trackpad much at all, so maybe it will eventually pop up at some point who knows. Sorry to see you having so many issues with two laptops in a row. Goes to show how terrible Razer's

Advice: Razer Blade 14 (RTX 5070) vs MacBook Pro M5 (24GB) vs MacBook Pro M4 Pro (24GB) — Paris

I had a Razer Blade 15 with Rtx 3070 for 4 years or so and now I have a MacBook pro 14 m4. I used the Razer mainly for gaming, some office stuff and cad (siemensnx and fusion360). It was really powerful and could do everything I needed. But the power also came with trade offs. It could only use its

Is this Razer Blade RTX 2080 Q-Max worth it in 2025?

I own a Razer Blade 15 Advanced with the 2080 Super Max-Q. 500 AUD is about 300 bucks, I paid nearly 1000 for mine around 2 years ago. I'd jump on that in a heartbeat if it's a functional model with minor wear. I will say, the 2080 Max-Q isn't an amazing GPU nowadays. But it's fine for what it is. t

Do Not Buy Razer

My 2019 Razer Blade 15 Advanced is still kicking. I had to replace the battery 4 times, but otherwise, it's been great.

Do Not Buy Razer

I'm writing to you from my 2019 Razer Blade 15 Advanced (the silver one...that was fairly novel at the time; I don't know if they still make them in that color). Other than replacing batteries nearly annually, and redoing the thermal paste last year, it's been great.
