$70 billion loss over 4 years in metaverse and VR/AI glasses

Just looking at their current product, rayban metas, they’re pretty damn cool and work very well. Based on them being the first mover + cool factor I’m bullish on meta. Plus they have shifted their focus to AI and the metaverse stuff seems to have taken a back seat. FB + instagram + WhatsApp continu

We’re blowing up! 🚀 To all our new members: Which pair of smartglasses is currently your favorite?"

I am in LOVE with my RayBan Meta Displays. I wear them as much as possible but the lack of progressive lens option is limiting. Ray BanMeta Gen 2s get worn when I need my full prescription. Even Realities are third, because of the progressive lenses issue and I'm not shelling out a billion dollars f

Are you upgrading to Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2

I ordered the RayBan Meta 2 and returning my Oakley HSTN Metas. While the HSTN is ok… it’s not great for everyday use. Plus it’s slightly uncomfortable for me. All my typical sunglasses are Wayfarers… so this is an easy switch.

Apple absolutely cannot miss its smart glasses swing

Ray Ban Meta glasses have sold 2 million and they’re ramping up production like crazy, the Vision Pro has sold around 500k and the rumors are frequently mentioning that they’re winding down production. Granted they’re not the same thing, the Vision Pro is much more of a tech demo/first gen/early ado

3 honest questions for the smart glasses community

This is kind of a big question. There's a few things A good balance of all the existing features. most smart glasses have a camera with no HUD, however the few that have HUD's (like the Even Realities G2) may not have the best placement, or don't typically have cameras. And some of the ones that hav

Help with daily tasks.

I solved all those problems by getting married! Lol just kidding! I lived alone for many years and I’m totally blind. I joke that I developed a really strong stomach by not knowing about Best Buy dates and not keeping house very well! OK I’m full of jokes some of those things have some truth in them

Weekly Thread: Project Display

I’ve been experimenting with something over the past few weeks: what if instead of pulling out my phone every time, I could just talk to an AI assistant through my glasses? So I built a setup using Ray-Ban Meta glasses where: I can ask questions about what I’m looking at get answers back instantly v

Dymesty Cook Edge AI Glasses Honest Opinon/Review

Hi, thanks for your thoughts. I have (and love) a pair of Rayban Metas but I'm becoming uncomfortable wearing them in an ever larger number of circumstanses due to increasing public paranoia around the cameras... 80%+ of my use of the Raybans is just the convenience of open-ear headphones for podcas
