What is the Best Espresso Machine for daily use as of today 2026?
First of all you need a grinder. I recommend the eureka mignon line of grinders because there is one at every price point, albeit those price points start at about $350 and go to $1k-ish. But truly this is your must have purchase. The Specialita is what started their popularity because they are so q

Poor Man’s Dual Boiler
I always wonder why more people don't do that.Even if you'd buy two brand new Rancilio Silvia and use one exclusively for steam and the other one for Espresso it would be still cheaper than a wide range of dual boiler... The only downside is shelf real estate and having to explain this brilliant ide

Upgrading from a Breville Barista Express [$3000]
At $3-4k you're well into dual boiler territory, which makes a real difference for plant-based milk drinks since you can steam while the shot pulls. The Rancilio Silvia Pro X sits right in that range on the machine side, leaving solid budget for a dedicated grinder. Since you're already used to sing

Identification and frother
I think that’s the same as my Gaggia, 2013. You may be able to fit the Rancilio Silvia steam want onto this machine. Big upgrade.

Thrift store find!!!!
Got one off of temu for 10-15$ i think, its a game changer when it comes to steaming. Rancilio silvia v1/v2 i think. Also ordered a pipe bender to give it a better shape since this is bent exactly 90 degrees and i need a bit more room to play with the pitcher.

Ultimate cheap setup!
I'm also a former barista and had the same setup until really recently. It's a decent combination. I'd recommend upgrading the steam wand to a rancilio Silvia wand. The wand costs about $20 online and takes about an hour to replace. There's videos online detailing how to do it.

Commercial machine for home use [600$]
I am going to play the opposite side. Not to offend you, just to provide perspective. i mean this well. Have you tried taking blind triangulation tests for espresso brewed at different temperatures? What i mean by that, brew two shots at 95 degrees celsius (203f) and one at 85 celsius (185f). cool t

My modded setup for now
Yeah, coming from the Bambino, you would definitely notice the difference since steaming on the Bambino is much easier. The Rancilio Silvia steam wand is very powerful, which makes it harder to control at first. What I can say is that it just takes time and practice to get used to it and learn how t

[$1000] machine recs at or under $1k (ideally $750 or under if possible) with the best/quickest milk steam wand? willing to go used also
A better machine is going to have a boiler instead of the thermocoil in your Bambino. The good news is it will have much more steam power, and will steam faster than your Bambino. The bad news is that you will have to wait about a minute for the boiler to heat up from brew to steam temperature befor
