My Humble First Setup
Very similar to mine 😂 but i got a mahlkoning x54 as exprrsso grinder and the fellow ode 2 for filter coffee Did you mod the rancilio silvia ? Mine is a v6 2024 model but that button on and off is different.. The machine isnt good with oem portafilters, mine also leaks.

Mine Rancilio Silvia V6 came with a big ass screw on the shower mount from the factory. Less in will result in wet, mushy pucks.

Used 2001 Silvia. Should I buy?
no way. €250 for a 25 y.o machine. A brand new Rancilio Silvia in Europe is only €600 or so. I had a 2007 V2 and the boiler died last year, the replacement cost was about 200-300 + labour for the boiler. If this machine has been in regular use since 2001 then I doubt the boiler has much life left in
