I like to build model cars. I’m also gonna be building things for My Home Lab as well as other physics base projects and also electrical engineering projects. This seems to set the expectation that you will want to use a wide range of filaments, not just PLA and PETG. Consider fully enclosed printer

Cheapest 3d printer that can...
Elegoo CC will probably do it ok, nozzles you will need to swap out with a hardened steel one, the bimetallic ones with the insert start having problems around 300C. The insert will come loose over time and fall out. That said, if you really want to print engineering grade materials, the QIDI Q2 is

Before I buy... Am I overestimating the P1S's capabilities? Printing inline skate parts.
Yowzer, thanks for the feedback guys. I'm not hearing much support for being able to print PA (which Bambu lists the P1S as being 'capable' of doing) or even ABS/ASA (which it says are 'ideal') without some additional 3rd party upgrades, let alone the GF/CF variants. I was under the impression that
