Erster 3d drucker - empfehlungen?

Is Qidi Q2C a good budget printer for PLA/PETG functional parts?

Only have the Q2, not the Q2C, but I'd say yes. AFAIK, Qidi is supposedly going to sell the chamber heater as an add-on, and in any case the printer is made for chamber heat so you could get a 3. party thing (The transparencies are plastic instead of glass on the C version, but I'd be surprised if t

Another printer question!

Personally I'd go for a CoreXY enclosed if possible, for a few more $. A bit more complex, but better print quality in general, enclosed can help as you get beyond PLA and PETG for filaments, etc. A few that are decent options at mid-level price ranges: AD5X: https://amzn.to/4tfYNXi Q2C: https://amz

3D Printer for Robotics Projects

Any open format like the Bambu A1 will be very limited as to what kind of engineering grade filaments it can print. The strongest filaments work best with a chamber heat of 55 C or higher. That doesn't necessarily mean it needs an actively heated chamber. Throw a blanket or towel on top and most enc

Is 3D printing expensive ?

Hey, new cosplayer here too. Everyone's budget is different but if you are thinking of cosplay, a 3d printer is a must. Don't go ultra cheap and consider the size before buying. These days I would recommend: Bambu P2S (or P1S if initial budget is a concern) I don't like Bambulab as a company, but th

Third party chamber heater for Q2C

Yea, it should work. You do know you can just order the qidi heater for the q2 for 35 bucks off their site right? Its literally made for the q2, the q2c is the q2 pro just without the heater, air filter and camera but you can add any of those later. You can print abs without the heater, it just make

Best 3D Printer for engineering student with multi color for 300-400$

Qidi q2c is around that price range. The regular q2 is better for engineering grade materials due to the heated chamber.

don't know what 3d printer to buy

Qidi Q2. It's better set up for more advanced materials that'd you'd want to use to build drones anyway. It's $499 USD. The Q2C is $399, primary difference is lack of an actively heated chamber. But the q2c can still heat the chamber using heat from the bed.

Trying to decide between 3D printers

If you consider the Qidi Q2 or Q2C it opens up the possibilities of using ABS, which also allows vapor smoothing.
