The printers themselves, the actualy hardware is fine. Very beginner friendly. The company itself, complete d-bags. I recommend you get a qidi q2 or qidi q2c.

Just buy a brand new Qidi Q2C instead of the X Plus 3 for almost the same price

I wouldn't. Ender 3s are everyone's past painful introduction to working endlessly on the printer. Newer models are just - less fiddly in general, although not foolproof. Why not something like a Qidi Q2C or AD5X? Qidi Q2C: https://amzn.to/4k7yApH Ad5X: https://amzn.to/4qLTdKm

Stay away from flashforge and bambu. Get a qidi q2 or q2c. For parts going into a PC you should print in ASA or ABS.

If the Bambu business practices and walled garden concern you, I’d definitely consider the Qidi Q2 or Q2C if you’re not considering engineering filaments like nylon. For the money, I’d probably stretch for the Q2 or maybe consider a mix if starting a farm. If multi color or material isn’t a consider

Only have the Q2, not the Q2C, but I'd say yes. AFAIK, Qidi is supposedly going to sell the chamber heater as an add-on, and in any case the printer is made for chamber heat so you could get a 3. party thing (The transparencies are plastic instead of glass on the C version, but I'd be surprised if t

That doesn't necessarily mean it needs an actively heated chamber. Throw a blanket or towel on top and most enc

Hey, new cosplayer here too. Everyone's budget is different but if you are thinking of cosplay, a 3d printer is a must. Don't go ultra cheap and consider the size before buying. These days I would recommend: Bambu P2S (or P1S if initial budget is a concern) I don't like Bambulab as a company, but th
