K2 Pro with CFS vs other options in this range, which direction makes more sense?

My first core xy printer was the Creality K2 plus. I put 3k hours on it before I sold it but in comparison to the printers I got afterwards it was the worst experience. I had to deal with Crealitys warranty dept numerous times and it was a horrible experience. The quality of my prints with it were o

Printer Upgrade Recommendations

I recently purchased the Qidi Max 4 and it definitely meets all of those requirements at an AMAZING price point! It’s a little less polished than the Bambu ecosystem, but it’s not far off. And while you don’t NEED to tinker with it, there’s also very little stopping you from doing so, unlike Bambu’s

Anyone else constantly having to re-add their networked printer to QIDI studio?

No issues with mine using orca, haven’t tried qidi studio yet but max4 comba and q2 work perfectly in orca slicer

Which workhorse would you buy for a small farm? I'm concerned with Bambu locking down

I have a Q2 and max4, I’m very pleased with them. I like that qidi is mostly open source and parts/accesories are really easy to find.

Qidi Plus 4 with Qidi Box

To me, it seems like the multi-color interface on the software side isn’t as good as Bambu, but that is subjective. The Qidi Box seems to be more finicky than the AMS units when it comes to PTFE routing. And the nozzle has a propensity to break where the ceramic element is between the hotend and col

Come on Qidi owners, you guys are very down on posts!

My understanding is that the box works better with the Q2 than the Plus4 since the core specifications of the box were final during the development of the former. I suspect it will be a similar situation with the Max4. Just bear in mind that Qidi decided to close down the source code for the box ear

Two last questions, answers will decide if I pull the trigger on the Max 4 pre-order today.

Qidi does do reviews, although none are out for the MAX4, I suspect it’s part of a larger marketing tactic so they can keep up with orders and not have a situation like they had with the Q2 launch where demand far exceeded their ability to supply them. Less publicity now makes for an easier time fil

My next printer will be the MAX 4

I've placed an order for a Max 4 as well. Currently I have an Ender 3 Max that I've wanted to replace for a while. I have a love/hate relationship with the thing and really want a modern core xy printer in a heated chamber that can print high temperature filaments. I love how plug and play the Bambu

Best 3D printers I can get with $500

If you’re looking for a bang-for-the-buck option it’s really hard to beat the Qidi Q2. It will print almost any filament you throw at it so you can grow and explore different filaments without having to upgrade later. I personally have a Qidi Max 4 that I’m having great success with, but it’s almost

Planning my next 3D printer for 2026, what should I be looking at?

What are you needs? Multicolor aesthetic prints - Snapmaker U1 Functional and strong parts - Qidi Q2/Qidi Max4 A mix of both, and you don’t mind closed ecosystem: Bambu X2D You have no budget limits and want the best possible thing - Bambu X2C, or Prusa Core L+INDX kit
