Surfshark

Surfshark does not support port forwarding, so it's a poor choice to use with Bittorrent. PIA, Proton, or PureVPN would be better choices, as they support port forwarding.

Plex + Starlink + Proton VPN = indirect connection(s)???

I use PureVPN with port forwarding (bought a really cheap multi year plan years ago, not planning on renewing) to get around my providers CG NAT. It works, but only after I set up the specific ports in both Plex and the VPN client. Also, you need to make sure the server you pick actually had Port Fo

Moving to Turkey – looking to self-host my own VPN in the US

VPNs are not strictly banned in Turkey, some mainstream ones are but not all of them. I'm using FastestVPN and PureVPN without any issues. Also I have several self hosted wireguard instances which have been working fine for years.

Since Black Friday is coming up and practically everyone has some campaigns, get a VPN service so you won't have to worry about it. PureVPN works well

The secrets of the couch

Yes! I've been using PureVpn for several years now. It's worth the yearly subscription. The one drawback is you only get the new season to view. They remove the past season when the new one starts. It's better than nothing because eventually YT will have it.

PureVPN is now available inside ChatGPT. What do you think about AI becoming the interface for VPNs?

Y’all are reacting like ChatGPT now owns your WiFi I tried it myself, and it’s literally just making the VPN setup easier. PureVPN still handles the actual connection; you just don’t have to keep digging through endless server lists anymore. Ngl, it’s actually kinda smooth.
