Moving to Turkey – looking to self-host my own VPN in the US

VPNs are not strictly banned in Turkey, some mainstream ones are but not all of them. I'm using FastestVPN and PureVPN without any issues. Also I have several self hosted wireguard instances which have been working fine for years.

Doubt on subscription

Use a VPN with free or paid... I don't know about free version VPNs, but I'm using PureVPN, which is very cheap at 1100 Rs for 2 years validity. and am watching any content without interruption from India's OTT content.

I'm probably doing something wrong 😅

If your ISP won't allow Port Forwarding, the best way to overcome this, try to get Pure VPN, if you Google "port forwarding for Pi Network Pure VPN" you should be able to get the information you need. Or try the link below if it works: Port Forwarding Pi Network & Node in the UK: Easy Steps to Boost

Moving to China - Need email and VPN

I used to use Ivacy VPN. It worked perfectly in mainland China (Beijing) because there were VPN servers hosted in mainland China and Hong Kong. The company was acquired by PureVPN a couple of years ago, but you can still choose a VPN server hosted in China. I don't know the company's background, but

VPN Unlimited - the basics, pinned here for reference

True, you’re right. But now almost everyone has more locations than you and they operate in almost more countries than you do. A quick comparison between, NordVPN, PureVPN and ExpressVPN to you will show you what I mean. On top of that, Apple tvOS is huge and you are not on there while others are. Y

Working from cafés for a few months on macOS Tahoe - anything obvious I'm missing security-wise?

I would only use public Wi-Fi with a VPN. Anything else is a risk, even if the café’s network is labeled “Secure.” Personally, I use PureVPN because you can get an annual subscription through Keyseller at an extremely low price, you end up paying what well known VPNs charge for a single month (based

Looking for a working VPN Reseller Panel

This is the cleanest option if you want something that just works. Some legit ones are PureVPN, TorGuard or VPN Unlimited. These give you a real backend dashboards, user provisioning, bandwidth tracking and billing integration.

VPN with the premium wifi

I wasn't able to use VPN on the basic plan and I believe the premise is that you need their "work from sea" internet package (above premium) to use VPN but I'm not sure. Also someone on reddit recently said their VPN worked on basic, but mine didn't two weeks ago. I'm pretty positive that it will wo

Setting up NordVPN using WireGuard on DR7

UUuuuhggh. There’s a way to do it by using powershell to generate the config in verbose output. It will put your private key out there in plain text for a moment so just FYI. Then manually create the wireguard connection in the network app. FWIW, I do not recommend NordVPN for this, and I’m not sugg
