I did some Thermal Imaging of the Bambu H2D Pro
Yeah, it’s on the back of a single YouTube influencer who experienced adhesion issues, did a similar scan and deduced that the adhesion issues were caused by poorly designed bed heating. He also compared it to a Prusa XL that didn’t show the same ‘issues’…but which uses a completely different form o

Core One + INDX: Pressure Advance and final price?
A couple points: The smaller XY dimensions relative to the X2 is not terribly substantial, and even smaller after accounting for Bambu's calibration processes using up more bed area than prusa's prime line. The H2 is a whole different size class, closer to the XL (With the core one L somewhat smalle

XL owners and users, I’d appreciate your thoughts.
I’ve had my XL 5T for about 1.5 years now and I love it. I’d definitely buy it again. The quality (both single material and multi-color/material) is very, very good. I’ve had very few failures that I could only blame the machine for, maybe 5? I know a review isn’t good without some criticisms so her

Is the Prusa XL right for me?
This guy is a Bambu lab fanboy and doesn't even seem to own a prusa XL. Neither do I. Here you can read someone's review from two years ago that sounds pretty balanced and honest. https://www.reddit.com/r/prusa3d/comments/1elyxp0/recently_received_a_prusa_xl_5t_and_wanted_to/ In general prusa printers are v

Seriously, Prusa – what were you thinking?
I am not sure for your first issue as I do not own a MMU but I own a 5H XL which runs the same firmware obviously... When starting the print you can rearrange the Filaments.. so replace head1 with head3 for example, I suspect this is the same for the MMU... Instead of replace I can tell it to join a

If you have the money, get the H2D
Sorry was on mobile earlier so it was kinda hard to respond to your comment that way. I'll address each point individually from desktop. I'm aware of the .4 and .6 issues from early printers. Since new models (including mine) ship with .4 doesn't apply Input shaping very much is present in current f

Should I get the Prus Core ONE+ over the Bambu Lab X2D?
(In my opinion) wait for reviews on the INDX to see how it performs. If it's good, definitely get the Core One. If INDX sucks, go with the Snapmaker U1 for now. If you absolutely cannot wait, get either the Core One or Snapmaker U1. If multiple toolheads doesn't matter to you, go with the Core One n

Update on the CC1 AMS might be coming within two weeks, according to customer support.
I really hope the U1 works as well as the early reviewers have said. My Prusa XL works flawlessly as a toolchanger - I just have too many jams in the hot end. I just purchased a complete spare head for the Prusa - about $400, or more than a CC and half the price of the U1.

~2k Budget. What are the most reliable 350+ x 350+ x 350+ core xy options available today?
The Prusa XL is likely going to end up being a good bit over 2k. If you need to print engineering filament, it doesn't come with a heated chamber (or a chamber at all) nor chamber filtration or even hardened nozzles. Except for a temp controlled chamber, they can all be bought as extra. It is a good

feed motor issues
Since you asked... https://kb-3d.com/store/extruders-hotends/414-ldo-orbiter-v25-extruder-1639531882962.html The orbiter is great! I think the other alternative I've heard great reviews on is the Sherman extruder... But I haven't used it myself. I was a doubter for a long while, but it works perfect
