I did some Thermal Imaging of the Bambu H2D Pro
Yeah, it’s on the back of a single YouTube influencer who experienced adhesion issues, did a similar scan and deduced that the adhesion issues were caused by poorly designed bed heating. He also compared it to a Prusa XL that didn’t show the same ‘issues’…but which uses a completely different form o

Core One + INDX: Pressure Advance and final price?
A couple points: The smaller XY dimensions relative to the X2 is not terribly substantial, and even smaller after accounting for Bambu's calibration processes using up more bed area than prusa's prime line. The H2 is a whole different size class, closer to the XL (With the core one L somewhat smalle

XL owners and users, I’d appreciate your thoughts.
I’ve had my XL 5T for about 1.5 years now and I love it. I’d definitely buy it again. The quality (both single material and multi-color/material) is very, very good. I’ve had very few failures that I could only blame the machine for, maybe 5? I know a review isn’t good without some criticisms so her

Introducing the INDX! Fast and affordable 8-material printing exclusively on the CORE One
Looks like a superior implementation compared to Vortek in the H2C imho. Lots of toolheads can use almost any material. The possible problem is still Prusa. I had 2 MK3s (upgraded from launch all the way to Mk3S+), and had an XL on order. Prusa always promised a lot of features 'soon' and 'later'. T

Is the Prusa XL right for me?
This guy is a Bambu lab fanboy and doesn't even seem to own a prusa XL. Neither do I. Here you can read someone's review from two years ago that sounds pretty balanced and honest. https://www.reddit.com/r/prusa3d/comments/1elyxp0/recently_received_a_prusa_xl_5t_and_wanted_to/ In general prusa printers are v

BIG Kudos to Prusa for their company values
Difference here is that bambulab has inventory of printer while prusa are printed on demand. Much easier to manage inventory. The p1s was released in July 2023 and was a finished product. The x1c a few months before that and was a finished product. The people that get a p1s last month got the same p

H2C - pulled the trigger, who else?
Uh weird how all of the accessories fit on the H2C (laser bed, vision encoder plate, cutting bed, etc.). They seemed un-necessarily restrictive before, but now it all makes sense. Besides all that, just on its face what you’re saying is kinda ridiculous: Do you think Bambu just whipped up a robot ho

Seriously, Prusa – what were you thinking?
I am not sure for your first issue as I do not own a MMU but I own a 5H XL which runs the same firmware obviously... When starting the print you can rearrange the Filaments.. so replace head1 with head3 for example, I suspect this is the same for the MMU... Instead of replace I can tell it to join a

Prusa XL 5 Tool heads - Still worth it?
I would hold off and wait.I have watched a few reviews of the U1 and was very impressed with just how fast it is for multicolor prints. It even beat the XL in speed by 3 hours. That's not to say the pre release of the printer doesn't have issues they need to fix.I am confident the INDX will be faste

Advice on multicolor printers
When it comes to multi colour 3D printing, there are two types: the AMS like systems where multiple filaments share a single nozzle ( like the ones you mentionned ) , and the toolchangers where each filament has its own nozzle. The AMS like systems are the most common and are pretty cheap, but they
