Budget Adjustable Dumbbells?

For all that money you can get a 10-80lb Eisenlink set ($500) which is indestructible or catch the regularly occuring sale of nearly indestructible 90lb powerblocks ($500). 50lb Eisenlinks are like $350, and 50lb powerblocks are $250 when on sale. Both have their pros and cons, I went with Eisenlink

Budget Adjustable Dumbbells?

Eisenlink for whatever reason have stock issues. For example if you go to their website everything is sold out. I admit it is a great system but it is still mostly closed. However both Eisenlink and Ironmasters handles are compatible with 1” plates. Also who knows how long Eisenlink will be around.

Sorry for your loss. The dumbbells, plates, and American Barbell bar are the items you are likely to get the most for. I would price the dumbbells at $1/Lb but accept $75/Lb. The American Barbell bar sells for $595 new, I would list it for $400 but accept $300. For the plates, it is mixed. The bumpe

Ironmaster vs Powerblock Elite EXP?

I just sold my Powerblock EXP’s and replaced them with IM’s. It’s a matter of preference and workout style. I personally like the feel of regular DB’s which is why I switched to the IM’s. The powerblocks were too bulky for certain movements. I despised doing any pressing with them and I also dislike

HOME GYM DUMBBELL DEBATE

I bought a pair of 90 Ib ironmaster nearly 2 years ago from a close friend of mine . Overall 8 years of abuse and still work like new. Also have great resell value. The original stand for it is pretty small so I’d recommend getting a rep dumbbell storage , eisenlink cart or go to harbor freight and

safely using dumbells alone

I would absolutely not drop powerblocks. I use Eisenlinks and you could throw those off a roof and be fine. I wouldn't trust powerblocks to be dropped more than a couple inches.

Adjustable dumbbells

I had powerblocks. They felt unstable, not like the bowflex ones I tried at a friend’s house. No way in heck would I lift a powerblock above my head- they always felt like they were going to come apart.

I want some knurled handles for my powerblocks. All the options seem to have downsides right now: official powerblock knurled handles: not stainless, weak knurling griffin fitness: not in stock average joe: indefinitely delayed due to tariffs jd gym: 7-8 week made to order lead time bare steel equip

Individual dumbbells or all in one?

For general fitness picking up two pairs of dumbbells, one that's light for you and one that's heavy, cheap off fb marketplace would probably do you fine. And feel a bit more ergonomic than bulky adjustables. If you have more ambitious strength aspirations you don't want fixed dumbbells that you'll

Stand suggestions for powerblocks? The power block stand feels like wasting space. Looking for something where I can store things below or above as well (one car garage).
