HELP. I’m so overwhelmed with options!!

Pass on the Fluance phono preamp. Pass on Fluance speakers. Fluance RT82 $349 or Pro-ject Debut Carbon EVO $599 instead of the $550 RT85. Onkyo stereo receiver with built in phono preamp https://www.adorama.com/ontx8220.html, you can try an external phono preamp such as the Fosi X5 later. Polk passi

Warmth in modern speakers?

Recently I bought my first set of speakers ever. I've tried some in store from Kef and they were absolutely amazing, precise, detailed but when I heard the Polks ES15/20.. I smiled instantly, warm and pleasant. Don't get me wrong the Kefs were on another level of technicalities but sound signature i

I'm surprised with how much these cheap panels do and I'm pleased with how good they look. Thinking of putting panels on the ceiling as well but I'm not sure where they're supposed to go? I'll be getting white ones for that of course.

I currently have a 3.1 setup consisting of front Polk ES15 a Polk ES30 center and a Dynavoice Magic MW12 Subwoofer. I am going to add rears as well, as soon as I can decide on what to get that'll look good, sound good and be affordable. My speakers aren't even broken in yet, as I only use the sound

Ortofon OM 20 vs 2M Blue vs New Preamp

What is your setup not doing for you? You are listening though digital wireless speakers. Not much point in turntable upgrades until you switch to an analog wired setup. The Fluance PA10 phono preamp is good enough for a Sonos soundbar and Ones. When the OM10 stylus wears out replace it with an OM10

Help me choose a turntable — ordering tonight!

Sure. So, like I mentioned, there are four components in the signal chain that need to be present to play records: Turntable Phono preamp Amplifier Speakers Now, these don’t all need to be discrete components. Powered speakers have the amp (and sometimes even a phono preamp) built in. Many times eit

Hum from new pre-amp

I mean, the speakers are a good enough match your LP60X, so if you're not going to change the TT, I wouldn't bother with the speakers. They're perfectly fine, entry-level powered speakers. They aren't great, but certainly miles ahead of anything that is in a suitcase player. That said, this is my "s
