Why did you choose Polar? Looking for arguments to stay in the ecosystem before upgrading

Main reasons why I chose Polar: • Accuracy: H10 is the “gold standard” HR wearable • Science-base: I love that they have published white papers for all their features • Privacy: including data storage in EU • Running training support: H10 + Pacer Pro + Flow give me basically everything I need to

Goodbye Polar – My farewell review of the Polar Pacer Pro

Polar I’m pretty sure was the original when it came to sportswatches don’t quote me. But the Pacer pro has everything you need to run a marathon. Not sure why switching a watch would make a difference except you want something shiny and new I guess that’s ok. Polar isn’t going anywhere so no need to

Move to Polar?

I came from garmin to polar. The biggest thing that often doesn't get mentioned enough is that Polar makes sport watches. Their metrics are amazing and I have found them to be very accurate. What Polar doesn't do well are the smart watch features. In my experience, the phone integration is more anno

In case you missed it

That matches my experience from past 2 months. HR for running looks good while for cycling seems to be too low. I’ve ordered HR belt and test it over the next weekend. Great watch overall, I’ve upgraded from Polar Pacer Pro and no regrets.

Goodbye Polar – My farewell review of the Polar Pacer Pro

I’ll be honest I have all the latest and greatest I have all polar watches as I do with garmins. I have a rcx5 that if polar would have kept in its eco system I would still be using. I’m not sure what you really want from a watch? Again the latest and greatest is t always the best. Yes you sound lik

Polar Loop - Some helpful info

Thanks for the very informative post.I think this device is not for everybody. But to me it looks like my Polar Pacer Pro minus all the features I don't need 24h 7 days a week, plus better look to be worn at all times. So I'm really thinking about buying it to wear it all the time, although will sti

After 90 days, I’ve realized my Whoop HR data is completely useless.

I did something similar: H10, Whoop 5.0 MG and Coros Pacer Pro - Whoop was around 10-15% under the values of Polar and Coros. It was OK up to 150!HF - issues started there. Polar/Coros showing 182 and Whoop 165-174...

Polar360 vs WHOOP 5.0 vs Helio strap vs Garmin Instinct 3 vs Oura 4. HR comparison during triathlon

This is in line with my observations. Polar Precision Prime is better than Elixir (Pacer Pro better than M3, in my case). I'm glad they went for Precision Prime on the new loop band. Garmin (various watches) was almost always worse than Polar Precision Prime for me.

If you looked at Garmin, or Apple/Samsung, what made you stay?

Long-time Apple Watch user here; got an H10 ~1 year ago and a Pacer Pro recently. (Apple Watch is great, but also quite expensive.) Main reasons why I chose Polar: Accuracy: H10 is the “gold standard” HR wearable Science-base: I love that they have published white papers for all their features Priva
