Polar’s new wearable is screen-free, subscription-free and a direct competitor to Whoop

The upcoming polar loop is a screen-free fitness tracker with interchangeable bands starting at 179.90€ from the well-known fitness watch brand Polar 🇫🇮. It competes with Whoop and Amazfit’s existing screen-less tracker the former famously requires an expensive subscription to use (and no more free u

Polar loops tracking system is beyond good and evil

You should read how polar measures activities. It is not wrong, but different to other systems. https://support.polar.com/en/support/the_what_and_how_of_polar_24_7_activity_tracking Here is the loop manual, also worth to read: https://support.polar.com/e_manuals/polar-loop/polar-loop-user-manual-english/manua

Surprised by the app ugly UI

I’ve been a Polar user for 12 years and I have no intention of switching to something else. The hardware’s good and I enjoy the fact that the product has so little bloat outside actual sports tracking. But my god, I don’t understand what the folks at the company are doing all day long. They release

Polar Loop - worth getting?

Make sure you like Polar's app and web setup first. I don't mind it but the presentation is dated and a turn off for a lot of people. If you change your mindset about "steps" a little bit and think more in terms of a general activity tally, yes it'll track "steps". In some ways Polar's approach here

Bad experience - product Feedback -Loop

Hi there. I get the impression that it bought the Loop wishing it would be everything without doing any research before. A M3 or I3 might have been more suitable for you. Polar doesn’t do fluffing.Shoe tracking, reps detection and cool stuff. The apps do lack but it does what it needs and the algori

Polar loop : very happy

I got my Polar Loop 4 days ago, wearing it all day since then. And i really like it. I tried a couple of cheap bands - but the result was always the same - bad sleep tracking (it was ALWAYS wrong), HR check every 30 minutes (what do people expect from measuring heart rate only every 30 minutes?) and

Polar - the future or perhaps just the past?

As a casual user, I like polar. Software is simple in my eyes, hardware is good and has no monthly subscriptions, which is a big plus. Polar also replaced my ignite 3 after the battery failed under warranty without a fuss. European brand, Finnish to be exact. All in all I think Polar is doing good b

Best fitness tracker - not a watch

Polar Loop is similar to Whoop, but after you buy it, there’s no subscription. I had the Whoop, but I didn’t want to pay $20/month (I think they increased their price now too) after the 12 month that came with it when I bought the device. Aesthetically, Whoop platform/app looks way way better than t

Polar Flow X LOOP

What do you not like about the flow app and what do you expect? If you are in sports and fitness tracking, the flow app is absolutely ok and the loop will deliver good results. If you want some fancy AI stuff or lifestyle things (awareness) and food logging, the polar system will not be right for you.

Is the polar band still bad? (Help)

I have a decade of workout/race history in Flow and have never had a problem with losing any data. I purchased a Loop so I could continue tracking my daily activity and sleep patterns without having to wear a Polar watch 24/7, and am reasonably satisfied with the purchase. It definitely does not hav
