PocketBook InkPad Color 3. Colors aren't vibrant, they look like printed on a newspaper, but it allows me to read comics on the go and that's enough for me. It weights more than other ereaders, tho, so it's really unpleasant to have it fall on one's face when reading in bed.

Viwoods e reader colour.
If you need colour for images, then perhaps. If you read mostly text, then stick to black and white. I have a PocketBook InkPad Colour 3. The colour screen is alright, but black and white eReaders are just much better for reading at the current state of eInk technology.

Choosing my first pb
This gets a bit complicated, especially If you never had used a colour and a black & white ereader. And especially because returning a device will just cause hassles I guess. You should first decide if you want a colour ereader or a black and white one. This is not just about colour yes/no. The only

Recommendation for a first ereader.
Good PDF support, colour for comics and good experience = large and expensive. Can’t really get around that. Something in the 7’’ would be a compromise that does PDFs and comics within that budget (Kobo Libra Colour, Boox Go 7 Colour Gen II), but “good experience” would be very, very subjective. I w

Moving from 623 to Inkpad Color or Verse color?
The question colour or not can only be answered by yourself, and you already did it. If you are willing to accept the disadvantages, try it out. Even if you find people who agree that it's worth switching to colour, you could be disappointed, and even when I tell you I would never buy a colour devic

The device I want does not exist (10inches, BW, 300ppi, non kindle non android) ?
I am waiting for a reader with big screen and 300 dpi too. I have a PocketBook InkPad X with 10"-screen and 227 dpi and an 6" Onyx Boox Go6 with 300 dpi. The same pictures and cbz's on both devices look slightly fuzzy on the InkPad and really good and sharp (small of course) on the Go6. So i wouldn'

Best colored e-ink reader for manga that doesn't cost a fortune?
No options for non-Android ereaders with SD card slot (only the 6" PocketBook Verse has an SD card slot), and your options (7" or bigger, since you want to read manga) are limited to the 7" Kobo Libra Colour & the 7" PocketBook " Era / Era Colour & the 8" PocketBook Inkpad 4 / InkPad 3 Color. And ho

Influence or deinfluence me on the Kobo Libra Colour
Unless you specifically want color to read a lot of comic books or graphic novels, get a B&W reader. Color e-ink displays are so much darker when reading B&W text content, it's almost impossible to read them without the front light on, which to me defeats the purpose of an e-reader. Check out the Po

Advice on buying my first ereader for manga
8'' PocketBook InkPad 4 or if you insist on having colours, the 8'' PocketBook InkPad Color 3. Size matters when reading manga, and colour devices have their disadvantages. For (mainly) black & white content, a black & white reader is objectively better (but many people are willing to take the disad

Lazy ereader selection question (apologoies)
Reviewers compare the PocketBook InkPad Color 3 to a "Tab Mini C", because of the same (larger) screen, and that Boox would then be Android, and still have a somewhat larger screen (I've always been put off when seeing these miniscule ereaders that seem to be standard). But that seems to be a chimer
