Pocketbook questions.

I've been using PocketBook InkPad Color 3 for nearly two years, no complaints here in terms of the quality Size does matter. The minimum level of comfort for novels and simple books is 6". 7" is noticeably better. If you plan to read regular books without a lot of color images, get a devices with B&

Pocketbook inkpad color

Is it the first version? You don’t mention a number so I suspect it is. I have the Inkpad color 3 and I like it quite a bit. The 8” size is better then 7” reader like the Colorsoft and Kobo Libra Colour for comics. I think it may be on larger side for travel but if you have the room, go for it. That

I want to buy a 7" color eReader

I got the PocketBook Inkpad Color 3 a few weeks ago and its been the most amazing thing ever! Color looks great from what I've used although darker colors like purples and blues are obviously very muted. The battery holds really steady which I love. Additionally, I found that as long as you have a U

Color ereader to read to children?

Not a bad idea at all! I would suggest going for a larger colour e-reader so it displays the images more nicely and in a bigger format, which is nice if you're all huddled around the same screen. Take a look at the pocketbook inkpad color 3 on the low end of the budget and the boox note air4c in the

It's been an expensive 6 months since leaving Kindle

Growing up in school I hated reading. None of the required reading books ever did anything for me, so I rarely actually read them. But that all changed in 2011 when I got a Kindle Keyboard and found out I could read books that I actually liked. It's been wondering and I've been singing the praises o

My kid asked for color ereader (Boox, Kobo, Pocketbook) ?

As a reader of comics and an ereader collector, a 7” reader is really too small. If you really want to get him a color e-ink device I recommend the Pocketbook InkPad Color 3. It’s 8” and a dedicated ereader so you don’t have to worry about Android apps and distractions. I still think e-ink isn’t qui

Best 7-8 inch B/W ereader on the market 2026?

It looks like you have a defective unit. Sometimes it happens with early batches. I've been using PocketBook InkPad Color 3 for ~2 years and am very happy with this device. I got it as a replacement for Kobo Libra Color, which had the issue with greenish backlight and software stability.

PocketBook verse pro color

As a Pocketbook InkPad Color 3 owner I can only tell you - enjoy. Kaleido screen maybe isn’t perfect but it’s still nice to have digital books library with colored covers. For me it was fantastic upgrade from old Kindle Paperwhite. At least until better colored eInk screens will release for mainstre

Help whit final decision

I can jump in with semi-useful advice. 😀I was also screening Pocketbook and Boox before I bought Pocketbook more than a year ago. I disqualified Boox because of the Android OS. All I need is to read my books and occasionally look up any word in the dictionary. So Pocketbook is awesome in that regard

Color e-reader recs for manga/comics?

I feel that for manga and comics, the larger the e-reader, the better the experience. Wanting a color reader makes that harder and more expensive. My pick here would be the Pocketbook InkPad Color 3. I have been using their InkPad models for years now and have been happy with them overall.
