Что выбрать 2024 Kindle Paperwhite или новый pocketbook era/verse?
I have both the Kindle Paperwhite and the Pocketbook Era Color. You’re locked into the Kindle/Amazon ecosystem with the Paperwhite. The Pocketbook lets you side load books using PB cloud sync, send to PB by email or via usb. The Pocketbook does not have a usable store for buying books if you’re in t

I need a 7-8" BW ereader with buttons. Suggestions?
If manga is important to you, I would recommend the InkPad 4 and forget about anything regarding ergonomics. Size is important if you don't want to mess with zooming, and even 8" can get - depending on the manga - rather small (small text bubbles with small text). Additionally is manual zooming (wit

Libby app for Verse Lite
It will finally come, but don't wait for it. PocketBook isn't fast regarding updates. The devices which I know already got it are the Era Colour and the InkPad 4, and the devices which I know still don't got it are the Era and the Verse Pro [edit: the Era recently received the update] The individual

booting off / sleep mode on pocketbook verse
Don't overestimate the capabilities of PocketBook, no matter how simple something seems. Two examples to understand what I mean: The - what I call Libby-update - arrived around two month ago on my InkPad 4. It arrived last weak on my Era. PocketBook has for the most part 3 devices to manage: the Ver

Question about logos on Pocketbook Verse Pro
That's because you don't have this update yet; only the InkPad 4 & the Era Color got it until now (it seems to be combined with the added Libby feature), the Verse Pro & Era not. PocketBook isn't fast regarding updates, so I can't tell you anything about a possible time frame when it arrives to the

Why is the spacing between words sometimes so weirdly uneven?
Automatic justification algorithm with no hyphenation. Use left alignment if you don't want to see the spaces, but you'll have a ragged right. Oh, and for what it's worth, my Pocketbook Era does NOT offer an option to change justification. You get what the publisher set, OR, you change that by editi

era G-sensor
This is where I read a reviewer writing about the g-sensor problem when switching hands. It's from a 2022 techradar review so maybe it's something that Pocketbook has already addressed? That's the reason for my question though: We do have an issue with how screen rotation works on the Era. For the s

PocketBook Era Color with KOReader battery life
+1 that upgrading the PocketBook Era's firmware from 6.8.x to 6.10.x breaks multitouch gestures in KOReader (and also removes koreader.app - see fix). Downgrading to 6.8.x fixed the multitouch gesture related issues. u/tmfsd did you report the multitouch gesture issues to the PocketBook support? Bec

Kobo v kindle
Home page is important if I just want to see my currently reading books, and that's better viewed in kobo. The UI on kobo is just better. Kindle might have a better hardware but kobo is not bad and if you put it in a case it will be good and last a long time. Pocketbooks are much more expensive than
