+1 that upgrading the PocketBook Era's firmware from 6.8.x to 6.10.x breaks multitouch gestures in KOReader (and also removes koreader.app - see fix). Home page is important if I just want to see my currently reading books, and that's better viewed in kobo. The UI on kobo is just better. Kindle might have a better hardware but kobo is not bad and if you put it in a case it will be good and last a long time. Pocketbooks are much more expensive than
