budget ereader advice: pocketbook basic lux 4?

Do you need buttons? If not, I suggest also considering the Pocketbook Verse Lite. I made a post recently about it. Yes, Pocketbook has a browser so you can access internet on it. As for fan fiction, you might need something with more speed. A secondhand Kobo will likely help with that. Edit: How do

Looking for a reliable and future-proof Ereader

The most important missing feature on the Basic Lux 4 would be no colour temperature regulation for when reading at night. It's basically a slightly different designed PocketBook Verse without night light & USB-C. KOReader is very easy to install on a PocketBooks. Then there's the Tolino Shine, whic

Help! Can't log in to Pocketbook Cloud, says password is invalid!

Same here — I literally bought a PocketBook Basic Lux 4 one hour ago, tried to sign into PocketBook Cloud and… boom, “invalid password” 😅 Thought I was doing something wrong, but now it looks like the whole PocketBook Cloud is acting up. QR login times out, email login doesn’t accept the password, a

Best E-reader for pictorial mediums? Like manga and instruction manuals

Honestly: with this asking price you'd better looking for a cheap bigger tablet. Eink in itself is expensive and anything but a cheap tech (the company that produces the panels is practically a monopolist). You will get for 60$ an older used black & white 6" device from Kobo or PocketBook (non-Andro
