Gen Z Is Cutting Back On Video Game Purchases.
Makes sense. Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony have increased prices on all of their consoles, games and accessories over the past year. A damn controller is $100 USD after tax now for the Switch 2. PS5 Dualsense $80 after tax, which you'll be lucky to have last you a year before drift kicks in. Games (M

Am I the only one who finds games way cheaper on digital store compared to physical discs ?
Same digital is cheap and convenient, but Sony greed has no limits, I will switch next generation to pc, I just can't with these dual sense controllers, these controllers cost so much and have less batter life and don't have hall sticks, I need more options, also I just found if we don't update ps5,

Is DualSense Edge worth it?
It’s expensive, but I eventually went for it since you can get a replacement stick for £20, I had so many drift issues with previous PS5 controllers I was fed up and I wish I got one earlier. The extra buttons/pedals and inbuilt options for stick height, stick sensitivity etc. and trigger sensitivit

Spear Stab does not work on PS5
I see, I use a DualSense Edge so having dash bound to O/B makes more sense for me. X/A and O/B are my back paddles, and having dash back there is very ergonomic for play. Incidentally, I know the expense and new muscle memory can be challenging, but if you haven't tried TDA or Eternal on controller

Daily Questions Megathread (July 23, 2026)
There are a few 3rd party controllers that offer "Hall effect" joysticks. These won't experience drift since they use different mechanics for their sensing of movement (There's no friction to cause debris to cause an issue). Unfortunately PS5 is a bit limited in terms of full controller support with

A reminder that Sony didn't care about you way before the disc announcement...
Stop buying the base Dual Sense controllers and invest in the Dual Sense Edge.. its literally been around going on 4 years come January. if youre still buying Base dual senses you dont care about youre wallet.. Ive had mine since it launched and changed my Sticks Once! and I play Hard.. Every compan

A reminder that Sony didn't care about you way before the disc announcement...
I mean; that’s literally how it should be? Halleffect joysticks solve the stick drift problem entirely, why isn’t it adopted. Why are we praising Sony for doing what they’re supposed to be doing? They’re charging $80 for a controller (an electronic device), it better come with warranty for 12 months

Is DualSense Edge worth it?
No. Atleast with full price. The only good thing about it is the back buttons. Everything else is technically possible on base DualSense. And since they limit 3rd party controller makers like gamesir.. they have no rush to make better controllers. But Sony limits the base DualSense software-wise on

Has Steam lost its touch?
I genuinely wonder if people calling the Steam Controller "very expensive" actually have any idea what controllers cost, or if they're just comparing it to the crappiest and cheapest third-party controllers they can find. Valve's controller is €100, while a basic first-party Xbox or PlayStation cont
